EDISON, NEW JERSEY (May 4th, 2023) – Triple C Housing, Inc. (Triple C) would like to thank Adam Gordon, CEO, and the Fair Share Housing Center for their recently released report on Dismantling Exclusionary Zoning: New Jersey’s Footprint for Overcoming Segregation.  The Mt. Laurel Doctrine and a series of NJ Supreme Court decisions unified a social housing justice movement to address exclusionary zoning.  The collective community impact on people of color, and particularly women of color, is captured by this report.

Triple C is proud to have contributed to the community impact in its work at the former Camp Kilmer Army Base.  Since 2005, Triple C has played a crucial role in the Base Realignment & Closure, and has come so far from the Department of Defense transfer of the property to Edison Township to fulfill its affordable housing obligation.  As a result, two distinct developers have built 120 and 172 units respectively in partnership with Triple C as the social services provider.

Edison Township’s commitment to meet its affordable housing endeavors is applauded as their trust fund has enabled Triple C to continue its production of multifamily housing for special needs populations, such as veterans and survivors of domestic violence.
