This year marks the 25th anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001.

Twenty-five years later, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 people whose lives were taken in New York City, at the Pentagon, and aboard Flight 93. We honor the victims and hold their families, friends, and loved ones in our thoughts.

We also recognize the survivors, first responders, recovery workers, members of the military, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and community members whose lives were forever changed. Many continue to experience the physical and emotional effects of that day and its aftermath.

For those in New Jersey and throughout the surrounding region, September 11 is not only part of our nation’s history. It remains deeply personal. Families lost loved ones, communities gathered in grief, and countless individuals stepped forward to help people they had never met.

The anniversary reminds us of both profound loss and the importance of community. In moments of crisis, acts of compassion, courage, sacrifice, and service can help people endure circumstances that feel impossible.

At Triple C Housing, we believe communities are strongest when people care for one another, respond to those in need, and ensure that no one must face hardship alone.

Today, we remember those who were lost, honor those who responded, and acknowledge everyone who continues to carry the effects of September 11.

We will never forget.
