The holiday season is all about joy, togetherness, and giving back—and this year’s Santa Event at Truman in Edison truly captured that spirit in the most heartwarming way.

We were honored to welcome local police officers, firefighters, and Commissioner Charles Tomaro, whose presence and support added special meaning to the event. Commissioner Tomaro also generously donated toys through Hands of Hope, helping bring even more joy to the children in attendance. Former Mayor Thomas Lankey and former council members Alvaro Gomez, Michael Lombardi, and Len Sendelski were also present, celebrating the season and supporting the community.

A very special thank you goes to Anthony Russomanno, who distributed toys generously donated by the South Edison Community Association. Because of their collective kindness, children were able to leave with smiles, excitement, and gifts that truly brightened their holiday season. We also want to thank Jill Mesonas for her thoughtful donation of gloves, which helped keep children warm and added to the holiday cheer.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Bob Dudash, who brought Santa Claus to life with warmth, joy, and holiday spirit. His kindness, energy, and genuine care made the experience unforgettable for the children and families who attended.

A big thank you as well to Amanda Musarra, Purchasing Clerk, who played Mrs. Claus and added an extra touch of holiday cheer with her warmth, smiles, and festive spirit. Her presence helped make the event even more magical for everyone involved.

Children lit up with excitement as they met Santa and Mrs. Claus, shared their holiday wishes, and enjoyed a festive atmosphere filled with laughter, smiles, and holiday magic. From cheerful greetings to unforgettable photo moments, the joy on the kids’ faces said it all.

Events like this highlight the importance of community partnerships and the power of coming together to create meaningful experiences.

As we continue through the holiday season, we are grateful for moments like these that remind us of the true meaning of the holidays—service, generosity, and community. ❤️
