A Message to Our Employees:
Triple C Housing is proud to welcome Praveen Tekkali, a doctoral student from Rutgers University, as our Health Informatics Intern this summer. His work supports our efforts to improve how we use data to serve our community more effectively.
“This summer, I am working with Triple C Housing as a Health Informatics Intern to support the program reporting and data optimization initiatives. My focus has been on understanding the organization’s current workflows, including reviewing existing reports built using Pentaho and working towards gaining access to Qualifacts API to better understand how data flows through the system.”
While many may associate volunteering with direct service, we also rely on skilled interns and volunteers behind the scenes who bring fresh eyes and new energy to our mission and help us refine and reimagine the ways we deliver support.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to apply my informatics and data science training in a community-based setting. By the end of this internship, I hope to contribute to a more streamlined and insightful reporting process for the organization. This work may also inform potential thesis work focused on developing a machine learning model to predict client outcomes, such as program completion or housing retention, based on intake data and patterns of service utilization captured in CareLogic.”
Triple C Housing’s mission is rooted in care, community, and choice and Praveen’s internship reflects all three. We’re honored to be a part of Praveen’s journey and look forward to the contributions he’ll make; not only to Triple C Housing but to the broader field of health informatics.
To all our interns, volunteers, and supporters: thank you!
