Losing someone to overdose leaves a permanent mark on loved ones and entire communities. International Overdose Awareness Day gives us time to reflect on those we’ve lost, stand with those still grieving, and renew our commitment to prevention, compassion, and care.

At Triple C Housing, we walk alongside individuals facing many challenges, including mental health conditions, substance use, and housing insecurity. We believe in meeting people where they are, offering support without judgment and with dignity at the center.

Overdose is preventable, but stigma and silence continue to be powerful barriers. By talking openly, sharing resources, and advocating for harm reduction, we build pathways toward healing, connection, and hope.

Together, we can create a world where prevention is possible, support is accessible, and everyone is met with care, community, and choice.
