Collective Impact on Consumers Served:
• Zero % eviction rate
• Accelerated housing development pipeline during the pandemic = 6 units of special needs housing (veterans, survivors of domestic violence, disabled) to stably house 10 households
• Expansion of general supportive services during the peak of the pandemic to serve mainstream households, marketed to 242 households
Community Engagement:
• Developed community engagement and children’s activities to serve mainstream households = up to 80 + households served since launching in 2021
• Spearheaded community interest group to process resident concerns focused on stable, healthy housing
• Expanded supportive housing services across 5 counties with additional expansion underway based on needs assessments, municipal and local interest
Community Innovation:
• Engaged in research and social determinants of health initiatives with Rutgers School of Health Professions to positively impact persons with the lived experience of a psychiatric disability
• Launched a community Quality of Life Initiative with Rutgers School of Health Professions with research underway in 2021 to present
• Engaged with Kean University’s Occupational Therapy Assistants to positively impact consumer services and support
• Organized an advocacy white paper on impact of Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Community Based Services in tandem with the NJ Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association
