Comcast is offering ‘Internet Essentials’ package free for low-income customers for 60 days amid the coronavirus outbreak. The ‘Internet Essential’ package is for new and eligible low-income customers. This program is designed to connect those who currently do not have internet services during this uncertain time. Cell Phone Plans

  • Assurance Wireless: Unlimited minutes and 6gb free data until May 2020.
  • AT&T: The cable, phone, and media giant is suspending the termination of wireless, home phone or broadband service when customers can’t pay their bills because of coronavirus disruptions. The company is also waiving related late fees. Like Comcast, AT&T is also providing free access to its public WiFi hot spots. The company also said its consumer home internet wireline customers and fixed wireless internet customers would receive unlimited data.
  • Verizon: Verizon said it is waiving late fees and suspending service termination for customers “negatively impacted by the global crisis.”
  • T-Mobile: The mobile phone service provider is providing unlimited data to all current customers who have plans with data for the next 60 days. It will also provide additional data to mobile hotspot users.
  • Boost Mobile:
    • Starting March 18:
      • Customers will automatically receive complimentary international calling rates from the U.S. to countries defined by the CDC as Level 3 through April 30, 2020.
      • Waiving reactivation fees for customers through April 30, 2020.
    • Starting March 21:
      • Customers currently on an unlimited data plan with Boost Mobile, will automatically receive an additional 20 Gigs of mobile hotspot on their plans at no extra cost through April 30, 2020. No need to call care or update your account through boostmobile.com.
      • Customers currently on a capped data plan (including WiFi Hotspot plans) with Boost Mobile, will automatically receive an additional 20 Gigs of data on their plans at no extra cost through April 30, 2020.
