A Letter To: The Division of Mental Health Services
May 19, 2011
To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Ellemich Nosben (pseudonym). I was homeless for about 6 months before I came to Triple C. I had lived with my mom for years but I had an argument with her and had to leave. I left there and went to live with some friends. My friends lived in a garage connected to someone’s house but there weren’t proper accommodations to live well, I didn’t have good clothes. I moved a lot from place to place before I stayed in the garage. I could only eat at fast food places and would stay at restaurants as long as I could.
I met Betty Schwartz from the P.A.T.H. program through Mona Drucker at UBHC. Betty Schwartz told me she had a housing opportunity for me and brought me to the apartment I have now.
I used to be nervous and wary about what would happen to me. I didn’t know if I’d ever have a nice place to live. I prayed I’d get a place to live. I like the Triple C program. The staff are very nice and organized. They all try very hard and do a good job. My life is better now than it used to be.
Sincerely,
Ellemich Nosben (pseudonym)
