Leadership and Management

Executive Director 

Leslie Stivale, MA, CPRP

Leslie Stivale is the Executive Director of Triple C Housing (Triple C), a non-profit community housing development organization and supportive housing provider. As Executive Director, Ms. Stivale has expanded Triple C’s supportive housing program, leveraging multiple funding sources to develop high quality housing, preserve existing housing stock and respond to the tremendous need for a range of housing opportunities for persons of very low income, formerly homeless and disabled.  
 
Ms. Stivale possesses twenty two years of experience in behavioral health and human services, having worked within the private and non-profit sectors in senior and executive management.   She holds a master’s degree from Montclair State University, a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, is a certified psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner (CPRP) and accredited residential manager. 
 
Ms. Stivale is chair of the Camp Kilmer Collaborative, chair of the Middlesex County Single Point of Entry Subcommittee to the Continuum of Care, board member of Coming Home of Middlesex County, Inc., officer and board member of NJPRA, Inc., member of the SHA, NJAMHAA, and USPRA. In 2010, Ms. Stivale was appointed to the Interagency Council to Prevent and End Homelessness by former Governor Corzine.    

Director of Operations

 Kimberly Ewell, MA, CPRP

 

Kimberly M. Ewell is the Director of Operations- Services at Triple C Housing, Inc, a non-profit agency which develops housing and supports adults with special needs (mental health, low income, substance abuse).  Kim has been with Triple C Housing since late 1997 when she started at a PT Residential Counselor.  She has served in various direct care and administrative capacities including, Program Manager, Clinical Coordinator, Director of Outreach and Administrative Services.   She obtained her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology from Rutgers University in 1995 and received a Master’s in Counseling from the College of New Jersey in 2001.  She is currently a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner and a Board Member with NAMI Middlesex.  Kim has over 15 years of experience providing support and assistance to children and adults with special needs.

Chief Financial Officer



 Paul Kiley, BS

Paul Kiley has been in the position of CFO/Controller for Triple C since October 2008.  Paul has over 19 years experience performing various accounting functions in health care related industry.  For twelve years he worked for Integrated Health Services, Inc.  starting out as a staff accountant and rising to the rank of Regional Controller.  As Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting for Senior Health Management he was responsible for the oversight of sixty two individual homes and four hundred and sixty million in revenue.  Paul graduated college from West Virginia Institute of Technology with an Accounting degree and passed the CPA Exam in May of 1994.

 

 

Director of Housing and Development



 Cynthia Light, MS

Cynthia Light is the Housing Development Specialist for Triple C Housing, Inc.  She has been developing affordable and special needs housing since 2002 and has a background in architectural and business management. She is responsible for the development of all new real estate ventures and oversees the property management of the existing portfolio of 100 units of housing for adults with special needs. Cynthia serves on the Permanent Housing Committee of the Middlesex County Continuum of Care.  She has a BA in Liberal Arts from the Pennsylvania State University and a Masters’ of Science in Real Estate Development from New York University.

Clinical  Coordinator/RN

Nancy Hmieleski, RN

Ms. Hmieleski graduated from Overlook Hospital School of Nursing in Summit, NJ in 1970. She continued her education and graduated from Middlesex County College in Edison, NJ with an Associate Degree in Applied Science, majoring in Nurse Education, and obtained her license as a Registered Nurse in 1983. She furthered her education in 1997 having earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Supervision and Health Case Management from Rutgers University, Cook College.  Additionally, she holds accreditation in Gerontology Nursing from the American Nurses Credentialing Center for over 20 years.
 
Ms. Hmieleski has over 28 years experience as a Registered Nurse, working in the hospital and nursing home environment, home care, residential care and supportive housing.  Prior to her appointment as Clinical Director with Triple C, she was the Nursing Supervisor for Active Home Care for 11 years, and Director of Nurses for 14 years. She is state certified through the New Jersey Board of Nurses to teach and certify home health aides. She has been employed with Triple C for over 5 years as their part time Registered Nurse before becoming the Clinical Director.

Program Development Coordinator

 Sheila Lefsky, MS, CPRP

Sheila R. Lefsky is the Program Development Coordinator at Triple C Housing, Inc, a non-profit agency which develops housing and supports adults with special needs (mental health, low income, substance abuse).  Sheila has been with Triple C Housing since 2009, when she served as Director of Residential Services.  She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Thomas Edison College in 1999 and received a Master’s degree in Psychiatric Rehabilitation from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2003.  She is currently a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner.  She was awarded Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner of the Year for 2007-2008, for her Psychiatric Rehabilitation program that she created in Florida.  Sheila has over 15 years of experience providing support and assistance to adults with special needs.

Regional Coordinator 

 Anthony Zazzarino, MA, LAC, CPRP

Anthony Zazzarino serves as the Regional Coordinator for the Supportive Housing program that provides services across two counties. Demonstrating leadership qualities, Anthony works throughout all levels in the mental health field from supervisor, to direct care, to county liaison. Anthony received his M.A. in psychological counseling from Monmouth University and continued on to obtain his post-master’s certificate in professional counseling.  Anthony has obtained Licensure in New Jersey as an Associate Counselor (LAC).  To add to the counseling background, Anthony is also a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner and utilizes this philosophy to guide service delivery. 

 

Residential Coordinator

Jennifer Novack, MA, CPRP

Jennifer Novack has served as the Residential Program Coordinator since 2009 at Triple C Housing. She provides oversight and hands on support to the Teams of two of the twenty-four hour (A+) group homes, semi-supervised program (C), and also areas of our supportive housing program. Previously, Jennifer served as Assistant Residential Coordinator and Team Leader at Triple C Housing. She has served as a member of the Quality Assurance Committee for three years. Jennifer received her B.S. in Psychology at the University of Scranton and her M.A. in Psychology at American University. She became a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner in 2010.

Human Resources Coordinator

 Judy Gnad

Judy Gnad is currently employed with Triple C Housing as a Human Resources Coordinator. Started employment with Triple C in September, 2004.   

Born in Newark, NJ and grew up in Irvington, NJ. Graduated Irvington High School and was employed by the Irvington Board of Education in the Purchasing and Accounts Payable Department for fourteen years. In 1973, she moved to Manalapan and accepted a position as a Secretary at the US Army Communications Electronics Command at Fort Monmouth in Tinton Falls. Later was employed at Marlboro Psychiatric Hospital from 1985 to 1990 as a Personnel Assistant. Transferred to Arthur Brisbane Child Treatment in Farmingdale in 1990. Worked in the Human Resources Department and later promoted to Personnel Director. Retired from state service September 2003. 
 
Family includes three sons, five grandsons and one granddaughter. Enjoy spending time with grandchildren, and cooking and knitting in spare time.
 

Staff Accountant

 Tonwa Skinner

Tonwa Skinner began her career with Triple C Housing, Inc. in July 2005. She was hired as Accounting Assistant and as a result of her strong work ethic and leadership ability she was promoted to Staff Accountant in the fiscal department where she currently manages the agency’s daily accounting operations. 
 
She graduated with an Associate’s degree in accounting from Monroe College, NY and after moving to NJ, continued her education at Thomas Edison State College. She has a diverse background in accounting and plans to further her education in the field of accounting and non-profit management.
 
Her interests include traveling, reading, her family and the field of psychology. 

Facilities Management Coordinator

 Frank Catalano

Frank Catalano is our Facility Coordinator and has been with Triple C Housing since 2006. He possesses over 17 years experience working in the behavioral health field and formerly owned and operated his own maintenance and contractor business. He was born and raised in New Brunswick, NJ. He lived in upstate New York where he was a Plastics Engineer working for Kodak, Xerox, Mobil Chemical and Bausch & Lomb. He has worked on various projects including the Polaris submarine, the Lunar Roving Vehicle, the soft contact lens and other products that you may use in your daily life. He was a volunteer fireman for 12 yrs. He is the father of 2 daughters and a son, grandfather to 3 boys. In his spare time he enjoys fishing in the local area lakes, bike riding, fairs and fireworks.
