Executive Director Leslie Stivale, MA, CPRP |
Leslie Stivale is the Executive Director of Triple C Housing (Triple C). Under her leadership, Ms. Stivale has expanded Triple C’s supportive housing program, leveraging multiple funding sources to develop high quality housing, preserve existing housing stock and respond to the tremendous need for a range of housing opportunities for persons of very low income, formerly homeless and recovering from mental illness. Ms. Stivale possesses twenty three years of experience in behavioral health, human services and the supportive housing industry having worked within the private and non-profit sectors in senior and executive management. She holds a master’s degree from Montclair State University, a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, a certificate in Nonprofit Executive Leadership from Rutgers Business School, is a certified psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner (CPRP) and accredited residential manager. Ms. Stivale works closely with local, regional and state initiatives, coalitions and committees such as; chair of the Camp Kilmer Collaborative Base Realignment & Closure; vice chair of Middlesex County PAC; chair of the Middlesex County Single Point of Entry Subcommittee/Continuum of Care; The Jewish Renaissance Foundation Steering Committee 2012; officer of NJPRA, Inc., member of NJAMHAA, SHA, and USPRA, and The National Council for Behavioral Healthcare. In 2010, Ms. Stivale was appointed by the Governor to the Interagency Council to Prevent and End Homelessness. |

Director of Operations/Services
Kimberly Ewell, MA, CPRP |
Kimberly M. Ewell is the Director of Operations at Triple C. Since late 1997 when she started as a PT Residential Counselor, she quickly moved into management and leadership roles having served in various capacities including, Program Manager, Clinical Coordinator, Director of Outreach and Administrative Services. Ms. Ewell posesses 15 years of experience providing support and assistance to children and adults with special needs. Ms. Ewell obtained her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology from Rutgers University in 1995 and received a Master’s in Counseling from the College of New Jersey in 2001. She is currently a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner and a Board Member with NAMI Middlesex. In 2010, Ms. Ewell received the Transformation award from the New Jersey Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association. |

Paul Kiley has been in the position of Controller for Triple C since October 2008. Paul has over 19 years experience performing various accounting functions in health care industry. For twelve years he worked for Integrated Health Services, Inc. starting out as a staff accountant and rising to the rank of Regional Controller. As Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting for Senior Health Management he was responsible for the oversight of sixty two individual homes and four hundred and sixty million in revenue. Mr. Kiley graduated college from West Virginia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s in Accounting and passed the CPA Exam in May of 1994. |

Director of Housing and Development

Cynthia Light is the Director of Housing and Development for Triple C. She has been developing affordable and special needs housing since 2002 and has a background in architectural and business management. Ms. Light is responsible for the development of all new real estate ventures and oversees the property management of the existing portfolio of 100 units of housing for adults with special needs. Ms. Light serves on the Permanent Housing Committee of the Middlesex County Continuum of Care. Ms. Light has a BA in Liberal Arts from the Pennsylvania State University and a Masters’ of Science in Real Estate Development from New York University. |

Associate Director of Health & Wellness
Nancy Hmieleski, RN |
Ms. Hmieleski has been the Associate Director of health and Wellness for Triple C since 2011. Ms. Hmieleski graduated from Overlook Hospital School of Nursing in Summit, NJ in 1970. She graduated from Middlesex County College with an Associate Degree in Applied Science, majoring in Nurse Education, and obtained her license as a Registered Nurse in 1983. She furthered her education in 1997 having earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Supervision and Health Case Management from Rutgers University, Cook College. Additionally, she holds accreditation in Gerontology Nursing from the American Nurses Credentialing Center for over 20 years. Ms. Hmieleski has over 28 years experience as a Registered Nurse, working in the hospital and nursing home environment, home care, residential care and supportive housing. Prior to her appointment as Associate Director with Triple C, she was the Nursing Supervisor for Active Home Care for 11 years, and Director of Nurses for 14 years. She is state certified through the New Jersey Board of Nurses to teach and certify home health aides. She has been employed with Triple C for over 5 years as their part time Registered Nurse before becoming the Associate Director of Health and Wellness. |

Registered Nurse ![]() Patricia Powell, RN

Patricia Juanita Powell is the Registered Nurse for Triple C since 2011. She was born in North Carolina, raised in New York City, then, traveled to Boston, Massachusetts to broaden her horizons. She worked at Boston State Hospital, Boston Superior Court and Walpole State Prison while attending evening college at North Eastern University and Middlesex College of Massachusetts. In 1980, Patricia moved to New Brunswick New Jersey and in 1984, Patricia graduated from the Middlesex County College Registered Nursing Program with an Associate Degree in Applied Science. Ms. Powell worked at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, specializing in orthopedic and geriatric nursing and in 1987 Patricia broadened her nursing scope into the field of criminal justice and correctional nursing. She began her 25 years career in correctional nursing at Middlesex County Department of Corrections and Juvenile Services. She was instrumental in developing the first accredited course in correctional nursing at Rutgers University. She was also employed as an ambulatory per diem nurse at the Eric B. Chandler Health Clinic in New Brunswick. Ms. Powell has embarked upon a highly specialized field of mental health nursing and continues her Certified Correctional Nurse status with the National Commission on Correctional Health Care, as well as, the New Jersey State Board of Nursing licensure. |

Clinical Coordinator
Anthony Zazzarino, MA, LAC, CPRP |
Anthony Zazzarino serves as the Clinical Coordinator for Triple C and has been an employee with the agency since 2005. Demonstrating leadership qualities, Mr. Zazzarino works throughout all levels in the mental health field from supervisor, to direct care, to county liaison. Mr. Zazzarino received his M.A. in psychological counseling from Monmouth University and continued on to obtain his post-master’s certificate in professional counseling. He is licensed in New Jersey as an Associate Counselor (LAC) and also a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner and utilizes psychiatric rehabilitation philosophy to guide service delivery. |

Regional Coordinator
Leslie Small, MS, LPC, NCC, CPRP

Leslie Small serves as the Regional Coordinator for the Residential Programs since 2012. Leslie provides oversight and hands-on support to the twenty-four-hour (A+) group homes. Previously, Leslie served as the Supportive Housing Coordinator where he oversaw the supportive housing programs. Leslie has experience as a masters level therapist in another non-profit agency located in Burlington County. Leslie graduated from Montclair State University with a BA in Psychology and from Capella University with a MS in Human Services with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling. He is licensed in New Jersey as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) as well as certified as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP). |

Judy Gnad is currently employed with Triple C Housing as a Human Resources Coordinator. Started employment with Triple C in September, 2004. Born in Newark, NJ and grew up in Irvington, NJ, She graduated Irvington High School and was employed by the Irvington Board of Education in the Purchasing and Accounts Payable Department for fourteen years. In 1983 she accepted a position as a Secretary at the US Army Communications Electronics Command at Fort Monmouth in Tinton Falls. Later she was employed at Marlboro Psychiatric Hospital from 1985 to 1990 as a Personnel Assistant and transferred to Arthur Brisbane Child Treatment in 1990. She worked in the Human Resources Department and later promoted to Personnel Director. She retired from state service in September 2003. Family includes three sons, five grandsons and one granddaughter. Enjoy spending time with grandchildren, and cooking and knitting in spare time. |

Staff Accountant Tonwa Skinner |
Tonwa Skinner began her career with Triple C Housing, Inc. in July 2005. As Accounting Assistant and as a result of her strong work ethic and leadership ability she was promoted to Staff Accountant in the fiscal department where she currently manages the agency’s daily accounting operations. She graduated with an Associate’s degree in accounting from Monroe College, NY and after moving to NJ, continued her education at Thomas Edison State College. She has a diverse background in accounting and plans to further her education in the field of accounting and non-profit management. Her interests include traveling, reading, her family and the field of psychology. |
